Mirror mirror, download it already. A fragmented self-image is reflected back, continuously shifting and being redefined. The constant flow of events in the world forces us to rethink our perceptions and beliefs on a daily basis. Every minute, a new notification of a fresh news story appears on the phone, demanding to be processed. If you don’t process it, you live in ignorance. We are compelled to take sides and express opinions. Before I can form a stance, the phone alerts me to another piece of news. Who said what, where did they say it? Do I agree or disagree? Do I protest or remain silent? The mirror, representing the self-image, never fully loads. From which angle should I view it?
