The installation „Fragility“ is about the eternity of time. An oxymoron that reflects the contradiction we often use in our sayings when we don’t finish the work we started, saying: temporary is forever. Found sculpture of St. John on a street corner in the city of Lyon, France, speaks of the fragility and vulnerability of time and reflects the saint’s idea of a meaningful martyrdom. Tied up, fixed in a niche, it continues to monitor and protect our memory. This motive does not relent and does not retreat, but fulfills its mission to the end. The signs of time and history seem dormant, but they do not disappear anywhere in our memory and consciousness. We are consciously aware of the real time and situation, but at the same time we sink into the dust cloud of historical time. We are then firmly anchored so that we do not lose our way and stray from the human essence of protecting, honoring, loving and believing. The state is intermediate, but it hides wealth, human, inalienable wealth. The blue dyed belt represents the hope that the mirage of history will not dissipate and we can enjoy the present. And our fragile memory will not break into pieces.
