VAA gallery ARTIFEX focuses on materiality, understood in all its reflexive and physical senses. The gallery is interested in the artists’ relation and approach to material – whether conceptual, intuitive, reflective, exploratory, performative, reflecting on social issues or conflicts.
Artifex Gallery presents a range of artistic projects exploring the possibilities of material – from sound to fabrics, from material objects to texts, and from thought to action. In this way, she aims to re-articulate a dialogue with material, in creative and unexpected ways, and in constantly changing dynamic circumstances.
