The international contemporary art fair ArtVilnius is the biggest art fair in the Eastern European region, which is celebrating its one-decade anniversary. ARTVILNIUS’18 OUTDID LAST YEAR’S EDITION (FAIR’S RESULTS)

The 9th international contemporary art fair ArtVilnius’18 included 55 galleries and 250 artists from some 20 countries. With Focus-Baltic its main theme, the event attracted particularly many participants from Latvia and Estonia. ARTVILNIUS’18 AUDIENCE AWARDS GIVEN OUT

On Saturday night, ArtVilnius’18 traditionally invited art fair’s guests to the closing ceremony at the Contemporary Art Centre and announced the awardees selected by the audience. The Audience Select Gallery award went to a gallery of the Vilnius Academy of Arts, ARgenTum, featuring the works of metal artist Vytautas Mockaitis (1958–2011).
