Description of the presented project:
Simplicity, logic, fantasy – such a code is encoded in the architecture of the new Stasys Museum, which will soon open its doors.
Minimalistic rectangle constructed of natural transparent white linen fabric is open to the fantasies of everyone. Fabric on which Stasys Eidrigevičius made his drawings, unites the colonnade that has been in the Litexpo exhibition hall for decades and repeats the architectural space of the Stasys Museum at this year’s Art Vilnius fair.
Just as the Stasys Museum, located near Senvagė in Panevėžys, discovers its connection with public space and the city community, as well as the installation created in Art Vilnius space, which represents both the new museum and the interpretational drawings of the museum created by Stasys, dives into the dialogue with the concepts of other artists and institutions within the exhibition space.
Experience, fantasize, expand, discuss, and immerse yourself into the space of the Stasys Museum by exploring Stasys’ drawings, which reflect the prehistory of the museum, its development, and the experience of an artist – his visual interventions.
