Rokas Janušonis – an artist born and raised in Alytus, currently living in Vilnius. Artist usually works in ceramics field, looking at clay as a universal, plastic material, a tool to express an idea. In creating sculptural objects, the artist explores the interaction between sculptural forms and drawing, looking for unexpected abstract elements, the relationship between colour and line, and attempts to discover the place of ceramic craft in the field of contemporary art in general.
